Colours

My teeth are white,
They are so bright;
My hair is black,
And so is Jack's
A tomato is red and sometimes green,
But a green potato is never seen.
A sunflower is yellow;
A chocolate is brown;
A brinjal is purple;
With a green crown.

Five Little Sea Creatures

Five little sea creatures,
On the ocean floor;
The octopus crept away,
Now there are four.

Four little sea creatures,
Wondering what to do;
Good-bye said two starfish,
Now there are two.

Two little seahorses,
Not having fun;
Off they swarm,
And now there are none.

Out In The Garden

Out in the garden, each fine day,
With my ball, I like to play,
I bounce my ball, I bounce my ball,
I bounce my ball on each fine day.
Out in the garden, each fine day,
With my kite, I like to play,
I fly it right, I fly it left,
I fly it high on each fine day.
Continue:
I spin my top,
I rock my doll,
I beat my drum.

Pitter Patter Pit Pat

Pitter Patter Pit Pat, here comes the rain!
Pitter Patter Pit Pat, we'll go out again.
Put on your rain shoes and put on your hat,
Find your umbrella don't forget that!
Put on your raincoat and button it so.
Pitter Patter Pit Pat, now let's go!

The Sun And The Moon

The sun shines on us by day,
For we can grow in every way,
Animals, birds and plants too,
Need the sun as me and you!
The moon shines bright,
With a silvery light,
And in the night
It's a very pretty sight!

The Family

This is the father, short and stout,
(show your thumb)
This is the mother, with her children about,
(show your index finger)
This is the brother, tall you see,
(show your middle finger)
This is the sister, with a dolly on her knee,
(show your ring finger)
This is the baby, still to grow,
(show your little finger)
Here is the family, all in a row.
(show your whole palm)

Fruits

Apples fresh and juicy too,
Good for me and good for you.
Mangoes ripe and yellow,
Juicy too for you fellow.
A Chickoo is sweet and brown,
Eat one and you will not frown.
Oranges and sweet limes,
Peel and eat them, you'll be fine.
A Pineapple is very nice,
Have some juice or have a slice.
Bananas are the cheapest of fruits,
Sold in a bunch, the're good after lunch.
A Guava has many seeds,
But eat one in time of need.
Green and purple Grapes in a bunch,
Sweet or sour, but full of punch.

Knock At The Door

Knock at the door, (knock the forehead with knuckles)
Peep in. (form a circle with forefingers and thumb)
Pull the latch, (pull the nose)
And walk in. (pull one cheek)
Take a chair, (pull the other cheek)
Sit down there; (pull the other cheek)
And say, hello Mr. Chin Chin! (pull the chin)

Pat- A - Cake

Pat-a-cake, pat-a-cake,
Baker's man!
Bake me a cake,
As fast as you can.
Pat it and prick it,
And mark it with 'T'.
Put it in the oven,
For teacher and me.

Rat - A - Tat

Rat-a tat!
Rat-a tat!
Who can it be?
Let's go and see!
Here is the postman
Knocking at the door;
Have you any letters?
One, two, three, four.

A Barber

Barber, barber cut my hair,
Clip it here and clip it there.
Apply all your skill and art,
Please make me look,
Bright and smart!

Row, Row, Row Your Boat

Row, row, row your boat,
Gently down the stream;
Merrily, merrily, merrily, merrily,
Life is but a dream.
Drive, drive, drive your car,
Gently down the street;
Merrily, merrily, merrily, merrily,
Life is such a treat.
Fly, fly, fly your plane,
Way up in the air;
Merrily, merrily, merrily, merrily,
Life's without a care.

Ten Little Firemen

Ten little firemen, sleeping in a row,
Ding-dong goes the bell, in a wink they go!
Off to the engine, ho, ho, ho!
Using the big pipe, so, so, so!
When the fire's out, home they go,
Back to bed, all in a row.
